Current Job Opportunities:

INSPECTOR

We are presently seeking an individual with the experience and ability to:

  • Perform inspections of product at various inspection points (incoming, in process, and final) for electronic/mechanical assemblies i.e. circuit card assemblies, box builds and cable and harnesses
  • Control of all documentation relating to product inspections, rejections, and procedures 
  • Completion of Q.C. reports/ forms and the collection of data to be used in feedback to the production floor
  • Work comfortably in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members

Special Training/Skills:

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings for assessment of conformance
  • Familiarity with J-Std-001 and IPC-A-610 industry standards (certification a plus)
  • Ability to pass a vision acuity test
  • Basic knowledge of electronic components and ability to interpret component catalog part numbers
  • Good mechanical inspection skills a plus
  • Familiarity with First Article Inspection process per AS 9102 a plus
  • Computer data input skills
  • Ability to complete MSWord of Excel forms

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years related experience as an inspector of electronic assemblies and/or electro/mechanical assemblies
  • High School Graduate or GED required

 

ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

The Account Representative will interface between customers and the internal organization for the planning, processing and implementation of orders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Overall review, coordination, and control of strategic customer accounts
  • Requires the ability to solve problems and interface with department heads
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detailed oriented
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently and proceed with objectives
  • Handle and resolve recurring problems

Education/Experience:

  • 3 years electronic manufacturing experience
  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Intermediate level MS Word and Excel

 

SENIOR HARDWARE/FIRMWARE ENGINEER

The Senior Hardware/Firmware Engineer will create electronic system and sub-system designs to meet customer supplied functional specifications and have a firm understanding of Safety, EMC and Mechanical Design requirements as they relate to Electronic Products and Systems.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Perform and direct the design and development of a variety of digital and analog electronic circuits, devices, and systems associated with a broad range of projects and programs.
• Perform design and development work on components, circuits and systems using microprocessors, microcontrollers, and DSPs, as well as various analog, digital, and electromechanical devices including amplifiers, comparators, regulators, power supplies, A/D & D/A converters, motors, relays, and specialized ICs.
• Generate schematics using Orcad Capture, create BOMs using Excel, and create Product and Test specifications.
• Oversee the PCB and/or mechanical layout from an electrical standpoint for new or revised designs.
• Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain microcontroller firmware utilizing C.
• Perform product validation testing; aid in the transition of designs from Engineering to Manufacturing.
• Generate quotations and manpower estimates, and interface with customers and colleagues in both written and oral communications.

Requirements:
• BSEE or equivalent and a minimum of 7-10 years product design experience, including 5 years of embedded design with a variety of microcontrollers.
• Proficient at firmware generation utilizing C
• Experience with Microchip PIC microcontrollers
• Highly competent in electrical design including schematic capture
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
